Ingredients
Scale
- 8 cups / 64 ounces apple cider (or apple juice)
- 1 can pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- pinch of salt 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Combine pumpkin puree, maple syrup, brown sugar, salt, and 2 cups of apple cider together in a large pot over medium heat. Bring to a low simmer then remove from heat.
- Add the remaining 7 cups of chilled apple cider to the warmed pumpkin mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour into a serving pitcher, punchbowl, or jar and serve in glasses over ice!
- Optionally top with a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice, a slice of apple, and a cinnamon stick!
Notes
The pumpkin juice will settle, stir or shake contents prior to pouring each glass!
Heating the mixture up is optional, but necessary for the brown sugar to incorporate. For a quicker pumpkin juice, use 1/2 cup maple syrup and you will not need to heat the mixture, however, it will be more prone to separating.
